The awards “will recognise, reward, celebrate and honour the achievements and endeavours undertaken each and every day by the local people in the communities throughout Inverclyde and the surrounding area.”
CCG Homes has sponsored the Business Champion of the Year category which recognises a business that has bolstered the community with its outstanding success in the past year. Judges will be looking for businesses that can demonstrate innovative projects, impressive results, and a focus on employee and/or community engagement.
Greenock Telegraph Group Editor Gillian Murphy said the awards are always a highlight in the calendar for the team at the paper.
She added: “Nothing makes the team here happier than being the first with a story that will make a difference to local people and show Inverclyde in its best light.
“We get to share uplifting stories about the work of selfless volunteers, inspiring young people, talented artists and athletes, and kind entrepreneurs.
