Proposals were submitted to transform a derelict site on Madeira Street, formerly home to Greenock Academy, in October 2022 and were granted planning permission by Inverclyde Council earlier this year.
CCG Homes now own the land and will deliver a masterplan that comprises a mix of 24, three-storey townhouses and 6, 2.5-storey terraced houses with construction set to begin later in the year.
