CCG Homes is delighted to announce that its Dalmarnock Quarter development in Glasgow’s East End has been shortlisted in two prestigious categories at The Herald Property Awards 2026: Showhome of the Year and Small Family Home of the Year for its four-bedroom Monteith home.
The double recognition highlights the quality and growing appeal of Dalmarnock Quarter, a mixed-tenure residential development forming part of the wider South Dalmarnock Masterplan, one of Glasgow’s most significant regeneration projects.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area forms the heart of the home, creating a natural gathering space for family life, while generous accommodation across three storeys provides dedicated areas for living, relaxing and spending time together.
Strong demand for the four-bedroom home has been reflected in sales performance since the development launched.
Show home of the Year Finalist: Designed Around Real Family Living
The nomination recognises the attention to detail behind the show home, which has been created around the realities of modern living, combining practical living spaces with a warm, welcoming and playful interior scheme.
The overall concept takes inspiration from nostalgic colour palettes, retro influences and soft, rounded surfaces, creating a relaxed and inviting environment designed to make a strong first impression while remaining comfortable for everyday family living.
Working closely with @Get Fully Furnished, the interior design team carefully considered how every room could make the best use of the available space, creating interiors that are both visually striking and practical.
In the lounge, a statement media wall provides a focal point on entering the room while incorporating additional storage for entertainment equipment, books and family belongings. The feature creates visual impact without overwhelming the space, balancing style with the practical demands of family life.
The kitchen and dining area has also been designed with family and entertaining in mind, featuring a six-seater dining table that provides space for family meals, gatherings and evenings spent hosting friends.
The twin bedroom has been carefully planned to maximise the available space while creating a flexible environment that can adapt as a family grows.
Twin beds feature upholstered headboards in soft, textured fabrics, complemented by playful wallpapers from @Casamance. The opposite side of the room has been designed with younger residents in mind, incorporating dedicated areas for gaming, studying and creativity.
The result is an engaging and imaginative space that encourages creativity and demonstrates how thoughtful design can help families make the most of every room.
Being named a finalist for both Show home of the Year and Small Family Home of the Year is a significant achievement for CCG Homes and recognises the thought and attention to detail behind both The Monteith and the wider Dalmarnock Quarter development.
